The F2B is fully compatible with all previous Martin bass horns (except the "S" bin). 575mm 2264" CONNECIORS AND SYSTEM PHASING. 1b enable worldwide compatibility, all F2 systems are fitted with identical connectors. Each rack has four XLR-3 female sockets parallel wired to a Cannon EP8 female. whilst each bass has two XLR-3 and one EP8.

Well, the F2B was really a 215 Mk3 redesigned to fit the F2 form factor. The prototype was known as a 215F. The speakers specified were the ATC PA100-375-Bass-LC-8ohm, badged as a Martin L1540. ATC type number decode: PA = PA range (as distinct from Studio) 100= voice coil diameter, 4". 375 (mm) = cone size, 15".

Martin Audio F2B. Here is my first attempt of drawing the F2B as I got 6 of them at the weekend. Just opened one up and draw it down. Plans with the exact measures are to come soon as my first attempt is not very precice and I normaly draw plans from paper to sketchup.... not from the real world to paper to sketchup...

Martin Audio F2B. I used the pd.1550 in the mk3, good punch, less high end i guess. Perhaps check out the rcf neo drivers, they're good for horns, they're not that deep or at least not that wide. Anyway check the thread with martin mk3 suitable drivers, I think there's even sims, the two cabs should be close to similar.
