The 3 main Italian makers, New Audio frontiers, Mastersound and Viva, all make 845 SET's. I have used the 22watt 845 Viva Solista for 4 years and it ain't going anywhere. I am sure others will disagree, but if you want power, grip on the speakers, neutrality, good base and above all transparency, go for an 845.

I've started to wonder how much a step up a New Audio Frontiers Legend could be over the DueVenti. Over on this side the price difference between these two is not that vast. $3000 retail for the DueVenti vs. $5000 retail for the NAF Legend. I've emailed Kevin Scott for any thoughts but no reply yet. I know he thinks incredibly highly of the Legend.

i love my New Audio Frontiers 845 SE. Use(d) them in Reference 3A De Capo BE, Horns FP10, Zu Druid VI and with TAD CR1 biamped Huge soundstage, engaging, resolving and mids to die for Best Tubes i do have are Psvane 845 ACME followed by Psvane 845-T-MII/2 and Shuguang 845B

From what I've heard NAF, VIVA and Mastersound play in the same league when it comes to 845 based amps. However, I have not heard New Audio Frontiers' other amps. The only ones that can be talked about being in the same class, but are in my opinion a step below are perhaps the New Audio Frontiers 845 (never heard the 211 based monoblocks by NAF thou), but they only produce the monoblocks that would not be able to drive your ribbon Pendradon mid-hi panels sufficiently loud/dynamic range would be too ...
