The B652 is a cheap speaker yes, but actually the woofer seems pretty well controlled in my measurements aside from 3.4KHz. The magnet is small and some distortion is measurable but my experience follows McKenzie's that the B652 is much better with the woofer peak controlled. Ive got some little Hendy SP1 speakers which date back to the 80s I think. These have mckenzie 100w 12" drivers with an extra cone thing in the middle, look exactly the same as a fane. Good little speakers, I use them as monitors or for small set ups. Mckenzie also made some studio speakers, I have four of them.

Just flip the speaker cables on the amp side (+) -> (-), and (-) -> (+) and leave the speaker cables on the speaker side (+) -> (+), and (-) -> (-). You can "fix" it through XLR cable modification, but then you'd be messing with perfectly good cables, and can solve the issue in a much simpler manner.
