I have a 2003 MG-ZT that had the kenwood cassette/changer set-up. It has steering wheel controls and a small infra-red transmitter under the overhanging flap. I have removed the kenwood and fitted a pioneer DEH M77-p. This unit looks and sounds much better than the kenwood. My problem is getting the steering wheel controls working.

Discussion Starter · #1 · Jan 17, 2006. For your information; The original ZT up too 2001 has the Kenwood IR interface that is connected to the steering wheel controls as part of the loom. It is possible to change this to an aftermarket unit, though it behaves the same way as all the R75 spec cars, not the 2002 - on ZT's.
