There was previously a RN52SRC version which provided an audio source function but this module has been discontinued. The RN52 module supports several Bluetooth profiles, which are used for streaming audio and voice data (using SPP only). These profiles include A2DP, HFP, and HSP. A2DP is a profile used for audio streaming applications, such as music streaming.
