When I play Mirror's Edge, there's sound during the opening cut-scene but once I'm in-game, there's no sound whatsoever - no sound of running, no dialogue, no background noise, etc.. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game a couple of times, but to no avail, and I've tried some other solutions too, but none have worked for me.

I just bought Mirrors Edge and there is no sound at all when I play it. The sound plays perfectly fine for all my other games on Steam expect this game. I've tried a few things like re installing it but nothing is working. I really need help I don't know what to do.
