AVI audio track is PCM and video is MJPG. Remux AVI to MKV using mkvmerge, no problem. Re-encode PCM to AC3 and MJPG to H265 using FFmpeg, no problem. But the resulting MKV is reported as H265 AC3 by ffprobe and by mediainfo, but mkvmerge --identify no longer reports the AC3 track, only the video track.
