Actually eARC passes the HDMI port audio to the eARC port completely even with lossless formats. The internal apps only pass Arc compatible audio formats up to DD+ atmos and not the higher bitrate lossless formats like Dolby TrueHD. But those lossless formats are not used by streaming services anyway.

You'll have a display showing in windows for your receiver, which you could either leave as secondary screen or if you have a monitor in 1080p hooked up, use duplicate screens for it.
