The new bass and mid/bass drivers, for instance, are a refinement of the innovative C-CAM technology that aims to deliver both rigidity and good internal damping from those dimpled cones.

Monitor Audio Silver 6 - good/bad? | AVS Forum

I have a pair of the Monitor Audio Silver 6's, also paired with a Silver Center. I originally got the MA Bronze BX2 and Center and paired it with a Polk PSW110 sub, not the greatest sub but it sounded OK . After a few days of listening, I wanted "more". I went back and auditioned to the Silver 6's and fell in love. Just what I wanted.
Monitor audio silver 6 or 8?? | AVForums

The Silver 6 are rated at 35hz which is decent. The Silver 8 are rated at 32hz, which is better. Silver 6 = 8 ohms nominal Silver 8 = 4 ohms nominal I don't think there is a bad choice. It is just a matter of working out the priorities in your space. The 4 ohm rating might be a consideration depending on how strong your amp is. Steve/bluewizard
