An excellent all around speaker. I use these as my primary speakers and the front outside channels for my home theater (with a matching Monitor Audio CC300 middle channel and Monitor Audio 2.5 in the rear). Unfortunately, I been powering the system with Sony's ES 333 (complete with AC-3 decoding).

Personally, the 5JRs, hands down. Love my M5jr+'s but haven't heard M4's. The M5's are nearly as good as the M7's I sold, both of which have the SL2500 tweeter. I have had the Monitor 5 Series 2 with SL2000 and another pair with SL2500s. The 4s will lack in bass for sure from the one that I heard (square tweeter).
