Necro bump! But my RSW12 started to hum - needs a replacement amp. Now Monitor Audio charge £302 inc VAT/Delivery because it's their latest 6G amplifier. They don't stock the old ones anymore. Frustrating because you can get a new SVS PB1000 which will out perform the RSW12 for £500 with a 5 year warranty.

Jan 5, 2015. #1. as title suggests my RS-W12 subwoofer makes a very audible hum. I rang Monitor audio today and they said they would replace the amplifier in the amp with that of the RX subwoofer (at this point i got happy) however at a cost of £275! Now i really dont think its worth spending that much to get the sub fixed by monitor audio.
