I recently purchased the Motocomm AudioBoss and have mixed feelings about it. I have used the "bike-to-bike" with Cobra FRS radios - working from my bike to my wife traveling in a Car. This worked very well. The radio on the Motocomm unit works poorly enought that I do not use it. The intercom portion (the primary reason I purchased the unit) works

I see in the Dennis Kirk catalog, a product by MotoComm, called Audio Boss AB-1M. Looks impressive by the picture. I have not used this unit before so I don't know if it is any good. I'd like to specify, however, that the Motocomm system you're comparing is the one made by AudioBoss (right?). There's also another system out there (maybe European members will be more familiar) called the Motocom - but it's made by IMC in Germany. Also, one comparison you didn't mention is the price.
