You might give Potplayer or VLC a try. Videos that used to chug along on my old PC with MPC-HC, played fine with Potplayer and VLC. Found a workaround: When using Mediaplayer-Classic x64 stuttering happened. After changing it to 32bit-edition of MPC-HC, stuttering seems to be stopped. Maybe nvidia driver has problem with integrated internal filters of mpc-hc 64bit? Maybe someone, who has the same problem, can test this, too...
