The above just gets MPC-HC to slowly increase the audio level during the quiet bits, then it quickly drops it during a loud bit, then it slowly turns the volume up again until the next loud bit etc...... it's not ideal but it's better than nothing.

I have another problem in my MPC HC. I cant change the volume or mute the player when I use it on receiver speakers. The audio is fixed and can only be changed or muted by the receiver. When I use it on my regular PC speakers i can change the volume or mute it no problem.
