Have downloaded a number of MPEG-4 (.mp4) videos, and many of them are completely useless. The video plays faster than the audio. Sometimes twice as fast, others maybe ten times faster. Have tried Quick Time on Apple's OSX and Windows Media Player on Windows XP, with the same result in both cases. Is there a trick I should know?

I am using powerpoint 2016.
