In response to 3879. Drag the MPlayerX icon into the Applications folder. You can then eject the .dmg (Click ⏏ next to it in Finder's sidebar) and put in in the trash. Use "Increase Audio Delay" or "Decrease Audio Delay" as needed to sync the audio to the video. "Reset Audio Delay" is to set it back to normal.

under mplayer osx go to preferences > click advanced tab then check the box for additional parameters and type in -delay put a space in after delay and then enter the amount of seconds you want to delay the audio. a positive number will delay the video where a negative will delay the sound.
