The 8000's are for anybody with the money that wants great sound quality or want to hit really high SPL's. Similar Products Used: MTX Thunder 5000 12". The 8000's hit harder, lower, and louder. Much cleaner bass. The 5000 handles the high end bass better, but for a sub thats not where its needed. The 8000 plays the low low end a hole lot better.
