It says the device is located at "PCI bus 0, device 31, function 5" Then when I try to update the driver with the soundblaster Live-25 cd, it says the drivers for this issue are not on the CD. I'm still trying to figure out if the issue in the device manager section (see original post for my details) is causing the problems with not being able to get sound at the rear speakers.

RAM: (8 x 2) Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 mhz. PSU: EVGA 1000w 80 plus gold. OS: Windows 10 home 64bit. There are 3 PCI devices that show it needs update, but when I try to find the update to install it says it cannot find it. This is the same for the SM Bus Controller (it also shows another option called "unknown device".

In the Device Manager, there is a "Multimedia Audio Controller" that shows a problem.
