I've just installed MuseScore 3.2.3 on Ubuntu 18.04 and I have the same issues. OS: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.3+dfsg1-1~ppa1804+1 (Ubuntu bionic/amd64), MuseScore build number not set, revision: d2d863f. No sound at all at first. Changing from Pulse to ALSA resolved that.

Ive used Musescore 3.0 with no problems. Today I downloaded and installed 3.5. I also downloaded New-Retrograde Master and Musescore-comments-master and installed them. There is no sound either when a note is input or to play from the score. I have Windows 10 and it plays music from my CD player and also MP4's downloaded but not Musescore.

No sound. Hi. Since one of the Musescore 3 updates, it has ceased to give me any sound output. Every other programme or site is fine. I have checked Mixer and synth and sounfont, and tried various saved files and new score. I have also uninstalled and re-installed Musescore, but nothing seems to work. Just no sound!
