The audio will still be transcoded from mpeg to Dolby AC3 but that goes fast. As an example I burned (to .iso file) a 45 minute half-D1 video in 3.5 minutes, total .iso size about 1 GB. It will load and process TiVo files but so far I haven't found anyway to keep it from re-encoding them even if they are DVD-compliant resolutions.
