Yep, I had the same problem. Sometimes the freezing of the audio controls was followed by a system reset, which MYGIG performed without any prior notice. The last public known update is 9.561 if I am not mistaken. I had to swap my MYGIG recently because of structural HDD failure. The new one they sent me had already firmware 9.7.7.0 on it.

Sometimes when I start the car, the radio comes on fine,but there is no volume control,no sound at all, and in the menu, Audio control is greyed out.If I shut the car off for 5 minutes or so, bam...all sound and audio controls are back.Looks like a trip to the dealer, just curious if anyone else...

same audio problem I've had the same problem. Twice all audio functions were gone, and the audio control button was grayed out. Once I had audio, but no radio. Both times shutting the engine off and waiting a few minutes helped (I think there is a lag for the power to be shut down after the engine is shut down).
