Uninstalled and reinstalled alsa, etc. I when I enable passthrough in VLC and Mythtv I get no sound from multi channel media. No sound in DVD's unless I select no passthrough or 2ch max. If I try to play multichannel audio without passthrough enabled, I get "WriteAudio: buffer underrun" errors every half second or so. I am using onboard sound.
