It is not a midi latency issue with pressing a key or lagging note-to-sound issue with the Axiom keyboard, NI Mashine, or any other controller. It is a lag of midi notes that get recorded. I get the same lag with Garageband, and get the same lag with the Guitar Rig Kontroller as an audio interface as well.

Thanks to the bandwidth of USB 2.0, the Audio Kontrol 1 can work at sample rates of up to 192kHz, although this will, of course, quadruple your CPU overhead.
