Show disable and disconnected devices. Highlight speaker and on the lower Right click Properties check settings for Device Usage enabled and so on. When Windows did a sound driver up-date it some how screwed up & the fix was as follows: - Enter the system bios Scroll accross & down to the sound aspect of the settings in your Bios & set it to "force active" (you could de-activate, reboot & then re-activate it on the next boot) this too might work. But there's no sound?
