Or no output from Reason's sound engine? I have a Realtek chip in my laptop too and although I hardly ever use it (you really need a dedicated audio interface) it does work. Also you need to go to the Recording tab of the Sound dialogue and make sure the Realtek is selected there as the default/primary device, but I wouldn't recommend recording ...
