Have your setup for the sound drivers downloaded -- make sure you have the right ones for your model. From the Device Manager, uninstall the the current drivers -- you will see a checkbox to "delete the driver software for this device"; by default it is UN checked. Check it!! and continue. Run your setup and reboot.
