No sound when importing AVCHD MTS files into premiere cs5.5. I have footage that was shot with the sony nx sf-100 and it is ACVHD mts files. when I import the files to the bin, it is being imported without sound (no sound track at all when dragged into the timeline). The footage has sound - that has been confirmed.

Ed - Thanks, if I adjust the AC3 Filter from 5.1 to 2.0 and convert AVCHD through HD Link I get CF2.0 files that now play stereo audio in PP CS5 just as you say. It looks like Premiere CS5 may be putting some tighter retrictions on acceptable codec than CS3 did - now blocking the CF5.1 produced by HD Link / AC3. Guess this leaves two questions ...
