Open VideoReDo, hold Shift and click Tools->Options. This will bring up a hidden list of options. Go to #19 "Default AC3 Output Stream" and set it to 128. (128 = 0x80) That will make it so that no matter what audio stream you select from the source it will be remapped to 0x80 in the output file, which should allow it to play properly.

Both processes produce no audio with 825a. I would like you to go into pyTivo Desktop, open settings, and check "Decrypt with tivo-libre". If you have VideoReDo post-processing enabled then turn it off. Now download the file again. That will result in a regular .ts file, instead of a .tivo file. Try playing that file in VLC. Does it have audio?

This is the first time I have had this issue with VideoReDo. I load a VOB and it tells me "No Audio Stream Detected". I even ran the VOB thru Womble to convert to mpeg and when I do that the audio is out of sync. I just loaded the VOB in VDM and ran a report. Here is the report. The VOB has the video length as 24:30.970 and the audio is 24:22.816.

If you're using VRD for a DVD rip, go to "Tools" -> "Select Stream". This will show you the different audio streams available on the DVD and the stream in use will be highlighted.
