SP3 do not carry any sound driver related changes except for HD Audio devices. Can you tell us what are the cards which are not "HD Audio" devices and having problems? Your sound should be working fine if there is no conflict in DXDIAG tool under Sound Tab. ( Start->Run, Type "Dxdiag" Press "enter" to bring DXDIAG tool window).
