Now, my Intervideo DVD software won't play a DVD from a folder unless it's in a VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS configuration. Not sure why that is, but there's an example of a missing AUDIO_TS causing problems. All in all, it's probably better to just add an empty folder. Uses practically zero space, and keeps things nice and compliant.
