Wonder if this is relevant for this thread or shall I start one called, Audiophile reactions to low-fi headphones. I tried on my first beats IEM, someone from work had them. They weren't as bad as I expected out of my GS4 but were slightly too bassy, the bass crept into the mids quite a bit and the highs were somewhat rolled off.

I have the OEM standard 6-speaker set up in my 2014 Forester Limited. At that point, the only upgrade was the expensive and not-readily available HK system which - as I've heard from some - is not worth the price. Others love theirs. I've never had my stereo cranked to the max (for those fans of Spinal Tap - cranked to 11).
