So I disabled fast startup, did a shutdown and startup and no audio crackle. Also did a shutdown/turn off PSU and drain power/ cold boot and no audio crackle. So basically it's a combination of the following: Recent Nvidia Drivers + Windows 10 Fall Creators Update + Fast Start enabled in power options. (maybe some unknown hardware component.)

I'm getting crackling sound when gpu is under load, but I got a display port connected, and using audio jack for headphones. The noise is definitely happening when the gpu is under load, is less noticeable when connecting headphones to the front jack (which is located at the bottom of the motherboard).

I will try disabling hdmi Audio as you suggested. I don't think it would help to use driver sweeper as I installed the GPU driver on a clean machine, would it? There was no graphics driver installed before. The same issue with the audio crackling also happened with an older Nvidia driver that Windows had installed uáutomatically (353.xx).
