S2719DGF and Nvidia GTX 1060 card drivers are most recent including the high definition audio drivers for the graphics card. Problem is that there is only one option in Sound settings in Windows, 16 bit stereo. The sound coming out of the headphone jack is really low quality. I initially thought your advice was just a repeat of what I had already done, but I also uninstalled the Microsoft HDMI sound driver before installing the nVidia one, and that made the difference.
