I have the Bash mounted to my entertainment center instead of the sub. It provides excellent, non-fading, very accurate bass reporoduction no matter what volume level it is. Even after hours at high volume use with metal, classic, or any other type of music or theater experience the Bash keeps it's cool.

I'd venture to guess that the manual resistor modification for the boost table on the PE 500W bash accomplishes the exact same thing as the extension dial that the o-audio amp has. C.

The Bash is quite a bit cheaper so I'm leaning that way. Some of the reviews say that it's relatively flimsy and would flex with the pressure of the sub so I'm planning on isolating the amp from the actual enclosure. Happy to entertain other options as well, but 500W seems to be the right number if you have others in that range. Thanks! Zaph SR-71
