Today I loaded the game and after the launcher box, no music and no sounds in game. Thought this was odd, since it was perfectly fine the last time I played. After checking file integrity, I reloaded the game and opened the "options/audio" menu. For some reason, all the slider were moved to the left (off).

However the Steam Version of Oblivion has no sound while the disc one has sound. I had once similar problem with my old PC at that time i played Skyrim and Oblivion concurrently. That however did not fix the issue, and it was only after a reinstallation of Windows 7 that I was able to hear sound in Oblivion again. I was wondering if you could try to uninstall whatever version of Fast Exit you have, reinstall your sound drivers, and play from there to see if that fixes your problem?

So when I launch Oblivion, vanilla or modded, there's no sound at all. In-game sliders are set to 100%. When launching Oblivion from the Bethesda launcher, I have audio in the start up menu, but not the main menu. If I alt+tab I can hear the main menu music fine. I'm completely clueless on what the issue could be. It's Windows 10. And my disc version I used to have worked fine with windows 10. 0 comments 100% Upvoted
