I've done multiple resets of the receiver. I have once upon a time managed to get the PS3 to send both sound and video to the TV. At present I have removed all connections to the receiver except a HDMI cable via the 'out' input on the back of the receiver directly to the TV. I have set the Audio setup on the receiver to optical out.
