I was planning on using the ARC hdmi on the tv and go to one of the HDMI inputs on the 605 to get sound to the receiver, but that does't seem to work. I can see the receiver in the speaker list on the tv, but when selected, there is no audio coming thru the receiver. I just get a 'no signal' on the Onkyo display.

I finally got my Onkyo 605 . I hooked up my Laptop on hdmi #2 then ran a hdmi cable from the output to my Plasma TV LG. The problem is that with this setings i have or sound or image but not both. When i set in the Menu HDMI Mntr OUT to Yes i have image on TV but no sound on my Monitor Audio...

But, I was looking forward to having everything hooked up via HDMI. Taking back the 605 isn't an option, as it fit my budget and was what I was looking for. Also, I've read of the audio synch issues w/ the 705, something the 605 doesn't have. I'm sure I'll come up with a workaround for what I want to do.
