Playing DVR football game in Living Room, but you want same audio on patio. I just select Zone-2 DVR and all audio is in sync as I walk back-forth. Unfortunately this is normal. You have to remember with this system you are using a digital signal to your receiver which is doing the D/A conversion to your main speakers while the signal in zone two is analog when it gets to the receiver and therefore does not need the D/A conversion and has no delay.

Using a Denon 2310 and a small amp for zone 2. I have done this type of setup for many customers before. I am getting a very noticeable delay in the zone 2 audio as compared with the main room when listening to the same source. The main room is getting the digital input from a DVD player and Sat box while zone 2 is getting the 2 ch analog input.
