When I turn off the HDMI sound in the system settings. I get no sound coming from the TV. Yet I have the optical audio cable turned on and the red light on the cable is on. When I launch Rocksmith it switches the audio settings to HDMI and optical audio to stereo unconpressed which tells me that the optical cable isn't being used.
