The sound on my Asus P5k-E has been working excellently. Have not experienced any of the issues that have been mentioned. No static, no 'missing' bass. Also, i dont think i have the latest SoundMAX driver running, the version i'm using is listed below. Specs: Windows XP Pro SoundMax Audio Version 5100.1234.16110 32bit (got it from the Asus website)

I just built my new system and am getting a strange skipping or buzzing noise every 5 seconds when playing music, the files were fine on my old computer, and I have tested it with the onboard sound and my sound card, sadly to say it happens with both. My system is: Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 gig 2 gig 800mhz Asus board with the P35 chipset.
