The PCL85 is a triode and output pentode combined. The PCL85 was used as frame output valve on monochrome tv's and occasionally (ITT CVC5 chassis) colour tv's. The pentode section does not have an audio output rating as one …

PCL805/85 @ The Valve Museum

The literature quotes an audio output rating for the PCL805 but this was not the case for the earlier PCL85. In any case the valve of choice for audio output was the PCL86 . On the picture it can be seen that the triode is a completely separate electrode structure with an electrostatic screen between it and the power valve electrodes.
ECL86 or ECL85 for mini amp? | diyAudio

ECL85 / 6GV8 /PCL85 / PCL805 / 18GV8 pentode section strapped as triode can make a very nice and compact 5 Watt push pull amp. The rather lowish plate resistance helps with even rather "cheap" iron. Using decent iron, I prefer it to triode strapped PP using E/PCL86 any day.
Stereo vacuum tube audio amplifier - DANYK.CZ
http://danyk.cz/elzes_en.html
Stereo vacuum tube audio amplifier This simple stereo vacuum tube amplifier is using ECL (parallel) or PCL (serial) tubes. They contain preamplifier triode and power pentode in one tube. Vacuum tubes like PCL82, PCL84, PCL85, PCL86, ECL82, ECL84 or ECL86 can be used. I used PCL82 tubes with 16V 0.3 A heaters and an anode loss 7W max.

for audio output, but not much use with 300mA heater(15 V) The ECL80 was also a 300mA heater that also happened to be 6.3V. However with a common cathode for the triode and pentode is very limited in it's uses. Some british record players in the late '50s used one as …

This picture shows the whole setup. In the middle you can see the amplifier with the tube PCL86 in the middle and some connectors arranged around the tube. Next to the tube is the trim poti for setting the grid bias voltage. The green wires are connected to the output transformer which is in this case a 100 V transformer.
