ive tryed reinstalling PCsx2 and my audio drivers but no luck my computer is core 2 quad Q6600 @ 3.1 2 GIG ddr2 667 Memory Geforce 8800 GTX x2 sli config motherboard asus p5n32 sli Premermen (audio is on bard SoundMAX (somthing ) all under windows 7 32 build 7500. (OEM build ) pcsx2 was working fine till today whats the problem ?

12-21-2008, 09:42 AM. I bet this is the reason: Your games are not running at normal speed. You need 50 Frames per second (FPS) for PAL games (Europe), 60 FPS for NTCS games (America, Japan). If you like have 25 FPS with PAL game your game is running at 50% speed and thats why sound sounds so weird from time to time when game lags, fps drops, etc.

Try every audio option ONE AT A TIME and note performance ( do not ignore the 'one at a time' rule). Repeat this with the video settings (the audio will stutter if the CPU gets bogged down. While it's unlikely that your GPU is the bottle neck, being that it's an emulator, absolutely everything has to go through the CPU).

As I said in the title, I just have one audio problem with Splinter Cell (it's the first one, from 2002). The file is an ISO one and my pc specs are the following: whenever I get to the menu or I start the game, the audio in my headset makes a choppy sound and it's annoying because you hear it almost everytime.
