I haven't tried the Dangerous but I love my Nicerizer Jr. It does impart a nice color indeed, and the +8 switches are super convenient when experimenting with how hard you want to drive it. That being said I've never found it "too colored" (as a matter of fact I'm thinking about buying a Blackbox HG-2 for a little extra saturation on the mix bus).
