Check out this Pioneer SX-680 with it's original box. Any advice other Audiokarma members have on cleaning the unit would be helpful. It will need some TLC and plan to give it a good cleaning with DeoxIT. I plan to continue to post photos on this thread as I clean the unit up.

Got my SX-680 as a rescue from a recycle center, I could only see it from the back. I asked if I could see it and have it. They did not want to give it up but they did. Right channel is pegged and humming. Looks like the STK0039 is a common failure. Question can weak or bad caps be the cause of the failures or is the power pack just a known issuse.
