It does exactly 24 fps when it should be 23.976. This means that in order to not have a judder every 41 seconds, you have to speed up the video and resample the audio (that setting in PHT). That fixes the video playback but probably messes up the audio.

Hi everyone, So I am in the process if getting a synology ds415play NAS. I plan to use Plex server app. Want I want to do is try to avoid the htpc route and get a media player that had Plex HT on that can do TrueHD and DTS HD audio and 24p playback.

sync method= audio clock render method= dxva, hardware accelerated Smooth playback on 24p material, 0% errors after about 10 seconds or so of playback, on True HD or DTS master audio HD soundracks. Vertical sync= on also produces smooth playback with good audio sync during movie & after chapter changes.

One of the latest Plex Server updates recently broke audio transcoding pretty badly. Myself and other users on the forums are having issues with things transcoding to MP3 instead of AC3/AAC. Other's are reporting sync issues as well when seeing transcode to MP3. For me it's only 7.1 AAC that transcodes to MP3 on one Roku device.
