It seems that plex does not allow audio switching when there are multiple video files, no matter which one is playing. I did a test by ripping a blu-ray to MKV with AAC stereo and AC3 5.1 passthrough. When I went to my player, though; next to audio, it just says "AAC Stereo". weird. i was thinking the same thing earlier tonight. i wish i could see all movies with multiple sound channels. mainly to easily see what movies have audio commentaries. now i regularly run new movies through mkvtoolnix and set commentary tracks to "icelandic."
