Growing up the little LB1 into this much larger AB1 has certainly succeeded in adding extra grunt and gusto, but at some cost in overall smoothness and some sacrifice of the more open neutrality of the smaller model. With the large 9" driver, I presume the AB1 will sound much larger with a greater sense of scale, realism and dynamics compared to the LB1. I believe the AB1 will be your main speakers with the LB1 as the rears in HT applications. I would say you've got a pretty solid PMC-based home theater setup that will sound quite spectacular. mclsound OP
