I think you are going to want the level switch on the XT Live set to Line, and connect the left/mono output of the XT Live to the Line input (the TRS connector, not the XLR part) of your audio interface. Leave the XT Live output setting at Studio Direct.

If I recall correctly, you can connect the the POD XT to your PC via USB. You'll need to install the latest drivers from their website. After that, go to your PC settings, and select the POD as your audio device. Select it as the audio device on your DAW too, and record away.
