The db3065 has all of the imaging and clarity of my large living room Polks, however this subwoofer is a real dud. It is mounted in the recommended enclosure and who knows, maybe it is defective. I had such a problem trying to get a good sound out of this sub, that I was prompted to buy a new amplifier. This did not solve my problem.

My factory subwoofer was rotted out and needed replacement. I added this to the OEM sub box. I had to add a 1/2" spacer as the box was not deep enough. The sub fulls the cabin with lows. Just don't expect super low bass, and do expect to have to trim your box slightly as the wire terminals are way too close to the mounting points.
