Turns out you get Big Sound From my Polk Monitor 10 Series II and they are actually smaller than the new Polk LSiM Towers. If I had More Room I Would Love The New Towers. I'd be afraid I maybe losing a little warmth with the new products. Polk Monitor 10 Series II plays all Music Freakin Awesome.

Original Monitor Series Model 10 had uncoated paper passive radiator (PR). Cf. my 1977-ish (manufacturing date; I got 'em as demos in'78) Model 7A):

These were the dual 6.5" woofers with a passive radiator and a dome tweeter. The original model 10's had the black tweeter. The later versions had a silver tweeter that sounded better and was much more reliable. I replaced a ton of those old black tweeters. The 10's and 12's were my favorite Polk speakers from that era.

First of all I want to state that I am not entirely shure of the model of these. The label on the back says Polkaudio Monitor Series 2. On the back of the tweaters they say manufactured in 1987. I have seen pictures of the 10's and mine are much bigger. These have the soft dome tweater, Four 6.5" drivers, and the 12" passive radiator.
